Standing on the Word of God for a miracle is foundational to our beliefs. Jesus has paid the price in full for all that we will ever need. Many times we approach God with reasons of why we would deserve His answer but that is the wrong foundation. Our foundation must always be what Jesus has done and not on what we can do.
