Transformation is not a one-time decision, it’s a process. A caterpillar cannot choose to fly, it must first enter the cocoon, undergo change, and emerge as a butterfly. Likewise, a believer cannot produce the love of Christ by simply choosing to. Only by yielding daily and maturing the inner man can we walk in the fullness of God’s will for our lives.
