The outward man isn’t just a shell, it carries its own thoughts, desires, and will, and that must be put to death. The flesh and the spirit are always in conflict, but every time you choose to strengthen the inner man, you’re sowing into lasting victory. Discipline may win short battles, but true transformation comes as you consistently grow the inner man.
